This album has been like a breath held in for too long, about five years now. The idea for this album came to me around September of 2013, an album about my home state of California. It was effectively postponed after about 2015, the ideas became far too grandiose, and in August of 2017 I decided to strip back and only keep that which I felt was not only the strongest music, but the songs that best captured the essence of this vision.

The front cover photo was taken by me on November 1, 2016 at Wilders Addition Park, San Pedro, California, overlooking Pimu (Catalina Island), the inside photo was taken by me on January 17, 2016 at Mt. Baldy.

I would like to thank anyone who takes the time to
listen to these songs.

This album is dedicated to the land where I live, and to those whose land this once was and still rightfully is.

The song Tonantzin is dedicated to my mother.
